The Lifestyle Medicine Doctor will work with you to understand your current health and wellbeing, and the areas that are negatively impacting your health. This will involve:

a pre-assessment questionnaire

followed by a face-to-face consultation with the
Flourish Doctor

We look at the
big picture

Using various tools and approaches we will help you think about the bigger picture. We reflect on the factors in your lifestyle that negatively impact your wellbeing, and the areas where challenges and blocks maybe happening.  We will help you focus on the factors you want to address to create an outcome that will support your overall health and wellness.

Set your
goals

Your Lifestyle Medicine Doctor will design a Personal Lifestyle Prescription and Programme which focuses on achieving your end-goals.

This can include health and wellness coaching, nutritional plan, physical activity and exercise plan, physiotherapy, psychotherapy, yoga and a wide range of additional support.

Managing the Menopause

We strongly believe that actively managing the menopause is not only important for management of symptoms and how you feel, but also for your long term health and wellbeing. 

At Flourish, we offer you a full treatment plan during your peri-menopausal or menopausal transition. We have a fantastic group of professionals who work as a team to help support you during this critical time in your life.

Support & Guidance

Co-Founder Judith Callow MSCP on staying active during the menopause. Activity is one of the five Flourish Pillars for a healthy lifestyle. We have activities such as yoga available as part of our Lifestyle Prescriptions, and Physio and Sports Rehab services are available at Willaston Physio.

Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)

Menopausal symptoms are due to a hormonal deficiency. HRT replaces them, and treats the many symptoms of the perimenopause and menopause.

Alongside your personal lifestyle prescription, we can prescribe body identical HRT using NICE and BMS guidelines, with careful monitoring by our Flourish GP. Associated HRT risks are low. HRT can also help prevent heart disease, diabetes and dementia in the future.
